Today’s cocktail is the Wardroom! This drink was created by Jason Clapham in 2020. If you’re not familiar with it I can’t blame you. I don’t even know how I first heard of it, but happy I did! This tasty sipper calls for port wine, something I always like to have on hand this time of year. Hope you enjoy the recipe! Cheers!

How to Make The wardroom

  • Caramel notes from port

  • Hint of Maraschino Liqeur

Tips

  • Chill that glass!

  • Don’t over do the Maraschino Liqeur

  1. Start with a mixing glass

  2. Pour in 1 oz. Maison Rouge VSOP Cognac

  3. Next, add 1 oz. Flor de Cana 7 year Rum

  4. Then, add 1 oz. of Graham’s 20 year Tawny port

  5. Add 1 dash of Angostura Bitters

  6. Pour in 1 bar spoon of Luxardo Maraschino Liqeur

  7. Add ice and stir for 30 seconds

  8. Drop garnish cherry to the bottom of your glass

  9. Strain into a chilled glass

  10. Cheers & enjoy!
