I'm sharing an original drink recipe of mine - the smoky spicy See No Evil! I created this years ago when someone asked for a mezcal tiki drink with a kick. You could say the name refers to the unexpected peppery spice you get on the end, but the truth is "See No Evil" by Television was playing at the time (good song btw). That name stuck and soon others began ordering it. Since then, I can't say how many times I've made this drink. Hope you enjoy it! Cheers!

How to Make The See No Evil Cocktail

  • Smokey, spicy, sour, sweet.

  • All the good stuff.

Sips

  • Crush some ice in advance.

  • I use a chilled lowball glass on this one!

Tips

The See No Evil Recipe

  1. In a shaking tin, pour in 1.5 oz Mezcal.

  2. Add 3/4 oz. of orgeat.

  3. Next, add 3/4oz. fresh lime juice.

  4. Then, 3 dashes of Tabasco (more if desired).

  5. Get your crushed ice and fill tin about half way.

  6. Shake about 5 seconds, we don’t want to over dilute.

  7. Open pour into your chilled glass but leave room at the top.

  8. Over top of the cocktail add 4-5 big dashes of Angostura bitters.

  9. Garnish with a sprig of mint and grated nutmeg.

  10. Cheers!
