The saturn
Today’s drink is the Saturn! This is a space age tiki drink that balances an assortment of tropical flavors. With two syrups and one liqueur, there’s plenty of sugar to hold up to the dilution of blending with crushed ice. Not everyone does this, but the result is an easy-to-drink frozen cocktail that’s perfect on a hot day! The Saturn is favorite of mine. Hope you enjoy it too! Cheers!

Best as a blended drink
Use a lemon peel & cherry to create a Saturn garnish
Tips
Start with a shaking tin
Pour in the 1.5 oz. of your favorite dry gin
Then, pour in the 1/2 oz. orgeat
Next, pour in the 1/4 oz. passion fruit syrup
Then, add in the 1/4 oz. Falernum
Lastly, add in the 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
Add ice & blend
Open pour in a chilled glass
Garnish & Enjoy!
The saturn Recipe
1.5 oz. (45 ml) Beefeater London Dry Gin
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Orgeat
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml ml) Passion fruit syrup
1/4 0z. (7.5 ml) John D. Taylor’s Velvet Falernum
1/2 oz (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
Cherry & lemon peel for garnish
