The saturn

Today’s drink is the Saturn! This is a space age tiki drink that balances an assortment of tropical flavors. With two syrups and one liqueur, there’s plenty of sugar to hold up to the dilution of blending with crushed ice. Not everyone does this, but the result is an easy-to-drink frozen cocktail that’s perfect on a hot day! The Saturn is favorite of mine. Hope you enjoy it too! Cheers!

  • Best as a blended drink

  • Use a lemon peel & cherry to create a Saturn garnish

Tips

  1. Start with a shaking tin

  2. Pour in the 1.5 oz. of your favorite dry gin

  3. Then, pour in the 1/2 oz. orgeat

  4. Next, pour in the 1/4 oz. passion fruit syrup

  5. Then, add in the 1/4 oz. Falernum

  6. Lastly, add in the 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

  7. Add ice & blend

  8. Open pour in a chilled glass

  9. Garnish & Enjoy!

  • 1.5 oz. (45 ml) Beefeater London Dry Gin

  • 1/2 oz. (15 ml) Orgeat

  • 1/4 oz. (7.5 ml ml) Passion fruit syrup

  • 1/4 0z. (7.5 ml) John D. Taylor’s Velvet Falernum

  • 1/2 oz (15 ml) fresh lemon juice

  • Cherry & lemon peel for garnish
